Summer is just about over, but the Cannabis Calendar continues to heat up. You can get lit and get fit, watch flicks and meet folks this month. Keep reading for details.

Remembrance Night
Monday, September 11
Culture Garden Market

In a night of appreciation for veterans and those in the cannabis industry, Culture Garden Market is hosting a party with food, drinks and games on Monday, September 11, from 7 p.m. to midnight. The Loopr bus will arrive at 8 p.m. for cannabis consumption (bring your own), just twenty minutes before the Broncos kickoff against the San Diego Chargers. The game will be shown on multiple flat-screen TVs and a 100-foot projection screen. Entrance (21+) is free for veterans and industry members, and $20 for everyone else.

The Mid-day Burn

The Metlo

Held at the Metlo on various Wednesdays, the Mid-day Burn combines cannabis and fitness to bring together members, consumers and vendors of the cannabis industry for marketing enhancement and consumer interaction. Attendees (21+) must request an invite to the private event; the cost is $10 to frequent the consumption lounge and $20 to participate in the workout.

Break the Stigma Fitness

Enjoy a yoga class with Lofted Lotus Yoga, a cannabis-infused yoga session for beginners taught by Samantha Prock. The class (21+) will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, at Break the Stigma Fitness in Wheat Ridge. Entrance is $15 for Colorado residents and $20 for non-residents.

Cannabis for Seniors
Friday, September 15
Balfour Stapleton
Stratos, a company known for its pharmaceutical-style products infused with cannabinoids, has been teaching a series of Cannabis 101 classes to Balfour Senior Living residents. The final class is at 4 p.m. September 15 at Balfour's new facility in Stapleton. Dr. Joseph Cohen and Dr. Sarah Berke with Holos Health, a holistic-health practice that specializes in medical marijuana evaluations, will share their knowledge with seniors; learn more here.

The Hemp and Cannabis Career Fair – Pueblo
Saturday, September 16

Prospective cannabis-industry employees can meet with Ms. Mary Staffing Recruiters and interview for immediate openings in southern Colorado cannabis cultivation on Saturday, September 16, from noon to 6 p.m. The networking and hiring event is free to attend upon registration; it will be held at the offices at 311 West 24th Street, Pueblo. The Champs Trade Show will return to Denver from Tuesday, September 19, through Thursday, September 21, at the Colorado Convention Center. Mary J Bingo Fundraiser

Mary J Bingo is a monthly fundraiser to support research at the Impact Network, an institute dedicated to studying medical cannabis. This month's game will be held at Cultivated Synergy on Thursday, September 21, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Entry to play is $20, with proceeds funding research on CBD as an alternative to opioids; women's health; and the effect of cannabinoids on the cardiovascular system.

Cannabis Culture Film Festival

Infinite Wellness Center of Fort Collins will sponsor the traveling Cannabis Culture Film Festival on Friday, September 22, and Saturday, September 23, at the Magnolia Theater in Fort Collins. This leg of the festival will be hosted by comedian Rob Cantrell and includes both features and short films with a heavy cannabis influence. The screenings start at 8 p.m. each night, with tickets costing $16 for one night or $29 for both.

Weed and Wine Health Expo

Break the Stigma Fitness

Enjoy a massage, facial, wine tastings, live music and talks on cannabis during the Weed and Wine Health Expo on Saturday, September 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Break the Stigma Fitness in Wheat Ridge. Each ticket (21+) will include a massage or facial, yoga class and a copy of the book Cannabis Therapeutics: A Manual for Cannabis Practitioners, by Jamie Lynn Thomas. The Finding Health Conference will explore the connection between medical cannabis and disabilities on Sunday, September 24, and Monday, September 25, at the Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows in Lone Tree. The conference will educate attendees on medical cannabis and explore emerging technologies in the field. Early-bird tickets are $195 and regular admission is $250, but there are a variety of promo codes

Ellementa Monthly Meeting

Denver's women-only cannabis support group, Ellementa, will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, September 26, at Urban-Gro in Lafayette from 6:30 to 9 p.m. This round of talks, titled "The Personal and the Professional," will focus on how women in the cannabis industry juggle their personal and professional lives. Stillwater Brands founder Missy Bradley will be on hand to talk to members about experiences founding a cannabis-infused company while raising a family. Tickets are $10 online and $20 at the door.
